Gregg Jay Tucek is General Counsel for Bashas’, Inc. Mr. Tucek’s high-energy presentations feature “street-smart” insights and legal expertise. In addition to his legal responsibilities with Bashas’, he manages the company’s Human Resources, Risk Management, Compliance, and Benefits programs. Prior to joining Bashas’, he was a partner with Sherman & Howard where he practiced exclusively in the area of traditional labor law and employment. With more than 20 years of experience in labor and employment, he has a successful record in arbitrating matters related to collective bargaining agreements and has been lead counsel in unfair labor practice trials before the NLRB. Mr. Tucek is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Arizona and American Bar Associations. He received his law degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Tucek is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Appeals for the 8th, 9th, and District of Columbia Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Arizona and Minnesota. Mr. Tucek has been an IAML instructor for almost 15 years.
